Buntop’s role: Review existing controls, specify compatible replacements and plan migration around production constraints.

Possible deliverables: Engineering bill of materials, compatibility notes, migration plan and agreed control or acceptance-test work.

Industrial networks & security

Equipment: Managed switches, firewalls, fiber accessories and approved remote-access components.

Buntop’s role: Review addressing, segmentation, approved connections and recovery requirements before selecting equipment.

Possible deliverables: Network and approved-flow drawings, equipment list, configuration records and agreed connectivity and isolation tests.

Edge data & cloud integration

Equipment: Industrial computers, supported device drivers, data-modeling software, MQTT messaging and AWS interfaces.

Buntop’s role: Match hardware, operating systems, licenses and source protocols; define which telemetry may cross each boundary.

Possible deliverables: Data-path design, equipment and license list, configuration backups and agreed source-to-destination checks.

BMS, EPMS & critical facilities

Equipment: Building controllers, power meters, gateways, monitoring interfaces and supporting compute.

Buntop’s role: Review cooling and power-monitoring requirements, equipment interfaces and local-control dependencies.

Possible deliverables: Point and interface lists, equipment schedule and agreed alarm, communication and commissioning checks.

Staging, commissioning & lifecycle support

Equipment: Approved firmware, configurations, critical spares and replacement records.

Buntop’s role: Where included, receive and check equipment, stage approved configurations, run acceptance tests and support site handover.

Possible deliverables: Asset and serial records, configuration backups, test results, spares recommendations and agreed support arrangements.

CLIENT PURCHASES

Engineering & purchasing support

You buy through your approved suppliers. Buntop supports specifications, the bill of materials, quote comparison and integration as agreed.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

Hybrid delivery

You supply selected hardware or enterprise licenses. Buntop coordinates the remaining agreed items and the integration between them.

BY AGREEMENT

Procurement & integration

Where supplier arrangements permit, Buntop coordinates agreed purchasing, receiving, configuration and testing. Funding, ownership, delivery and warranty responsibilities are confirmed in writing.

3. Understand the delivery process

  1. Review the need. Discuss the operational problem, existing equipment and constraints.
  2. Define the solution. Establish specifications, compatibility, responsibilities and a proposed bill of materials.
  3. Agree the quotation. Confirm scope, price, schedule, payment milestones and any item-specific order restrictions.
  4. Source and integrate. Purchase through the agreed channels and complete the configuration or testing included in scope.
  5. Accept and hand over. Record agreed acceptance results, deliver documentation and confirm support responsibilities.

Purchasing & Payment Terms

Payment milestones and any required equipment prefunding are defined in the quotation. Non-cancellable or non-returnable items are identified individually before ordering. Sending this RFQ does not place an order or accept purchasing terms.

Warranty & Support Responsibilities

Manufacturer warranty eligibility, duration, transferability and claim handling depend on the product and sourcing channel. Buntop engineering support and any workmanship warranty are defined separately in the agreed scope.

Configuration, Testing & Handover

When staging is included, agreed deliverables may include serial and asset records, approved firmware baselines, configuration backups, addressing records and documented acceptance test results.
